2024/2025

I have recently been rediscovering forms that I first made many years ago including Moon Jars and Pilgrim Bottles. As ever, I draw my inspiration from Oriental ceramics and continue to be excited by both the process of making and glazing these surfaces. I continue to make large platters and my range of domestic ware including jugs, mugs, vases and bowls which I hope will continue to give people pleasure when they use them.

2020/2021

This has been some year! I have continued making throughout the past year and am continuing to develop my shapes and glazes. I am also in the process of setting up a new workshop which I am hoping will be fully functional by the end of 2021 and open to visitors.

For many years I have enjoyed experimenting with bending the clay when it is still soft and I am working on a series of flat dishes with raised curved sides and twisted handles. I am really enjoying this process.

2018/19 collection

I have been working on a range of different glazes to create a watercolour effect inside bowls and have also developed some new shapes which I have enjoyed making.
